If you could get back would you still become a owner operators?
If no why or if yes, would you do something different?

Ordinarily I would say absolutely. However, then I get days like today, and wonder why I ever bothered.
In summary yes and no
no, but if I had a sudden rush of blood to my head, only as an owner driver, no more adding trucks, as this sometimes means more turnover less profit, drive all week spend all weekend under the other trucks, and all the marriage problems that go with it, back to no then.
Owner operator with employees for 28 years and I enjoyed 26 of the years, corporate Gubbins made the last 2 years a pain, hence early retirement.
Do it again, if I needed to work then yes I would.
