Hi I see no one else has made a comment on here about your questions, I am retired now after a life in road transport both here and in the EU and with respect your name implies you are not a native of this country apologies if I am wrong yet you are asking for advise on a British company. Should you need answers of what is needed as far a equipment is concerned best to ask the company you are referring to as to what you need. On to operating here you will need an O licence and to gain that you need qualifications and proof of finances to support your venture and my advice if you decide to carry on is to do it properly with all the correct paperwork or don’t do it at all.
A lot reading this will wonder why I bothered to reply and being as that you sound like you are not a British Citizen you will most likely face animosity as the haulage game in the UK over the past decade has been decimated by an influx of European trucks and labour, this I know from experience first hand so do not be surprised if you find opposition to yourself setting up here. So many trucks from Eastern Europe are now doing cabotage here right now it is hard for the existing companies of British Origen to carry on trading, this the reason for animosity towards foreigners and of course there is Brexit and how that will affect the situation.
What ever you decide to do think long and hard about it else it may end in disaster which a lot on here would like to see I am sure, just trying to be honest my friend.

This post should be on the Owner drivers thread, and will probably attract both good and bad replies as a result.
