Whilst using the west bore on the dartford crossing on Sunday afternoon, I was stopped by the traffic light system as you enter the west bore. I was then directed by the traffic light’s to tun left into the tanker/ oversize yard.No one stopped me nor was I directed to VOSA. I realised that I must have been over hight, I had a 15’ 9" trailer on.
I then ran back up to junction 1a and turned round to come back and use the east bore. My question is, do they prosecute if you are stopped at the traffic lights, and if 
so what penalties are imposed.
