Got a drop next week at Sirius minerals near Whitby,not a part of the country I’m familiar with,any ideas of any overnight parking either near Whitby or lay-bys coming from guisborough way on the A171,apparently you can’t park near the mine overnight cheers for any assistance.
As i recall theres a big lay-by ■■■ parking area at the top of Birk Brow,a steep climb 4-5 miles out of Guisborough (on your side heading towards Whitby.
according to google theres a coach/lorry park on langborne rd in the town, all ammenities on tap…

It’s still there on the A171.
Be careful of the Whitby Coach Park as it does state coaches only. Its a pay and display and the long stay are left or right at tge entrance not where the coach park is. There’s a similar one in Scarborough snd HGVs can park there but its £10 an hour I believe. Wouldn’t want you to get bitter by the town council as they are both council owned I believe 
The layby mentioned is the better option.
