There is a ‘lorry parking’ sign and directions off the one-way system in Galashiels though I don’t know whether they are old signs and if parking is still available. Was going to try myself but ended up outside my customers premises near Asda.
Yeah, I was up that way today for a look after I saw the sign. Not much of a lorry park, seemed to be used by locals to park their cars. Wouldn’t fancy staying there the night.
I was desperate for a break and seen that sign in galashiels went up the hill and it was full of cars. Ended up full on the pavement next to a primary school taking a 45 minute. Then i had to figure out where to turn drove into the leisure centre type place - not a good idea!
The council really should remove those signs.
It’s the most unlikely lorry park I’ve ever seen. Even if you could get onto it it’s in a residential area.
