Overnight parking around Swansea?

Evening all,

Before I start, I have an idea this post could be in the wrong forum so apologies if it is :slight_smile:

I am off on my first night out in ages tomorrow and am off down to Swansea for an early morning drop on friday followed by Cardiff !

Could someone recommend some where to stop overnight around the Swansea area.

I am leaving from Scunthorpe at lunchtime then heading down to swansea to drop first thing friday morning .

you could do alot worse than porthcawl seafront,20 minutes from swansea and by the seaside junction 37 off m4.if you need directions,just pm me.

Stayed on the ind est recently at crumlyn burrows SA1 8PT theres some space outside the chemicals firm there, there were a few others parked too. Dunno how safe it is but it was quiet and theres a maccy d’s 10 mins walk away.

I always made for the council offices on the sea front in swansea but that was a few years ago :confused: not sure you can park there now, was a short walk for nitelife and lots of pubs to get something to eat.Always a crackin night out there :wink: :wink: :smiley:

i don’t know where portcawl is?,however porthcawl the town i have lived in all my life, is approximatley 20 minutes away from swansea in a truck.i know i have driven it thousands of times,unlike you who,can’t even spell it.

ROFLMAO Listening to your replys all !!!

Has it happened, there was no traffic what so ever when i left. I was in Newport Truckstop for 19.30 and was wondering what the hell to do, so like like sensible peeps, i went to bed :slight_smile:

Was in Swansea for 7am, sat round for an hour then got tipped…by the time i had done my other drops round Cardiff and Newport i was on my way back home by 13:30…then hit the joyful m5, m42 etc etc :slight_smile: got home at 1830 :slight_smile:
