Typical sat Nav mistake.

Not sat nav mistake,■■■■■■■■ driver mistake…what excuse can you give for missing this sign less that 1/4 mile away from the bridge■■?
I do wonder if these sort of drivers would actually notice if they ran someone over or just carry on their merry way clueless.

That video has been edited to make it look worse than it probably was, driver missed a road sign it happens but he didn’t hit the bridge. Yeah driving a decker he should be on his toes but for whatever reason he missed the signage. No damage caused, lesson learned. Non event really.

Why blame the sat nav ffs, you may as well blame the steering wheel for getting the truck there, the driver cocked up either by daydreaming when passing the sign, or he is one of these drivers that totally relies on a sat nav, or a combination of both, either way …driver.

Big shout out to the home owner who opened the gate so the driver could turn around

In what way has it been edited to make it look worse than it really was

He’s driven past at-least two signs showing the bridge height, I’m not going to knock the bloke because we all make mistakes, but it was driver error not sat-nav error.

Follow the road from here

I was saying typical sat Nav error relating to drivers that blindly follow that little screen with the voice on a car sat Nav that says turn left 300 yards turn right 100 yards etc and yes not paying attention to the road much like the driver that follows directions given by a customer that goes the same way to work every day by FOOT :unamused:

We all know it is either sat nav or a foreigner to be blamed for everything.

Mid axle was up so he shouldnt have been that heavy. Time will tell my friend, time will tell

Well, I’ve been in the situation before where you can’t find the correct way in to a place, so you think, “Yes I’ve seen the sign but the map says my drop is just up here so I’m gonna have a look anyway. Let’s see how far we get and I’ll turn round if I have to.” Not a big deal. But we can’t possibly hold up the car drivers can we?
