Only seem to find bad reports

are there any other drivers with a netural review on h&r i have read one good post on here but the others seem to ■■■■■ a bit most of time now as some one looking at this it doesnt seem to good used to hear things like this about nolans and transcon out of wexford ireland is it just a driver thing as loads of lads worked for the two above companies and got on etc so can anyone shed any light other than reading the norm as it would be intresting to anyone who maybe considering this move

The fact that you’ve read a hundred bitchfests and one decent appraisal of H&R speaks for itself don’t you think

Plenty of people drive red trucks with H&R on the door, you see them all the time, so it can’t be that bad :bulb:

I think if you go there with the right attitude, you’ll be fine, as Richard (taffy) has proved

I only know 3 guys on H&R and all 3 of them are happy

Pat Hasler:
I only know 3 guys on H&R and all 3 of them are happy

Yeah but the Pat Hasler definition of happy doesn’t count

well it not looking good :bulb:
3 out of 260 odd mmmmm :unamused:

Dont go to H&R then, there are plenty of other Canadian companies out there. Doing your research and finding a better fit for yourself will certainly be better than just taking the easy option of a big company who organise everything but then potentially treat drivers poorly because theres a constant stream of new meat in the seat to replace you if you dont like it. Alternatively go with H&R, keep your head down, get PR and the move on. Very few people stay with the original company they came out with so I’d be looking at things beyond the initial company and locate yourself in a place that offers better work after PR. Obviously if you actually want a life in Canada you’ll be better off doing somewhat more local work once you have PR so going with a company in the middle of nowhere in a town that has nothing but long haul jobs isn’t the way forward unless you want all the expense and hassle of moving again for work later.

The whole system is rubbish anyway, something that is supposed to control following distance and stop colisions but doesn’t work in snow and ice ! … As soon as it gets a coating of either the screen goes red and buzzer sounds and cruise control doesn’t work, nor does the radar.

Drives me insane in a storm , the sodding buzzer going off every couple of seconds . You’re constantly alerted and warned about distracted driving then when the snow starts falling the freakin radar goes ■■■■■■■ on snowflakes and distracts you further , pain in the ■■■■■■ .
