Am I correct in saying as I have a pre 97 licence I don’t have to do hgv hazard perception test or theory test before I sit e+e
I just need to do 35 hours cpc
If you wish to sit CE you will need to pass your theory test and hazard perception test.
Driver cpc can be gained via 35hrs OR Mod 2, case studies, and Mod 4 which is a practical test based on walk round checks.
For your practical, I strongly suggest you keep an eye on the Chevron Open Day offers which are in addition to the standard free accommodation if you’re more than 70 miles away.
Good luck with it all, Pete S[emoji16][emoji16]

As Pete says
A pre 1997 LGV C1 was given for free without having to do any theory tests but any LGV upgrade needs to have both modules 1a theory and 1b HPT passed before a practical test can be taken
You only need to pass modules 1a + 1b once as that will cover all LGV categories
