I hope you don’t mind if I “big up” the Oliver Smith Truck Rally, which will take place from the M2 Medway (Farthing Corner) eastbound services to Leysdown on Saturday 26th July 2014.
Oliver is a five-year-old Kent boy who has Neuroblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of childhood cancer, and this has already robbed him of his sight. His family are trying to raise money for him to have treatment in Germany if his condition worsens.
There will be trucks, hot rods and prestige cars on the rally, which costs just £5 to enter, and plenty to do on the day, a “trucks v boy racers” tug of war, live music, licensed bar and many other family attractions.
