Ian Lawson is still running this F12 he has had it from brand new in 1979 and still goes all over Europe!
Regards Pat
How does he get on with all the stupid emissions restrictions? I thought places like Germany levied charges if you did not have a Euro 8 or whatever engine?
Hi I will ask Ian when I see him next I know he cannot use the tunnels into Italy!

Amazing, would be great to see an article about her in one of the vintage mags, preferably Heritage Commercials. Is it the original cab?
Bruce
Hi Woodcutter
As far as I am aware yes it is the original cab but I know he has changed doors, also engine and gearbox are as original I think but Ian had to have a new clutch fitted not because it was worn out but the springs in the centre plate broke and fell down between so that you could not disengage the clutch!!!
I will find out more and report back.
I think that Ian is due to retire soon and has had some very good offers for his truck.

Do you have any pictures of it with the low loader on it? Helped him when he did a tyre in outside our yard about a month back, trailer looks older than the unit.
Hi All
About the only things original on Ians F12 are the chassis rails & the block but having said that he works very hard to keep it up to modern spec he even changed the frot hubs just to get oil filled ones.
Cheers Rich
On our way to Devon last monday morning there was an erf b series ( I think) on the m6, sleeper cab in green and red pulling a curtainsider on a d register, it was absolutely flying!
Think the name on the cab said ‘Seaways’
I didn’t get a picture sadly.
