Great pic moomooland, I love the way they are keeping it “in house”,doing their own recovery,a couple of elephants to pull it out would have been helpful

Richard

And the elephants could ■■■■ the water out of the ditch to make it easier to get the ropes attached ! :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

Hi Toddy2,

Very true I never thought of that :unamused:

The accident was caused by two members of the circus who were travelling in front collided, causing the driver to swerve it was the “Bearded Lady” and the “Hunchback” the Police said it was a freak accident !

Regards

Richard

Too many trailers? What do we reckon the towing tractor is? It is not a Matador.

its a prewar foden…don’t know the model. I meant the tow truck not the towing tractor

THE tractor could be a fwd neil b

Yes, I agree. Billy Smart had several FWDs

Thank you gentlemen yes FWD. It was the drivetrain layout that was confusing, it was clearly not an AEC or a QL. This below might be the very vehicle.

It’ll be easy to slide up the ladder once they’ve rung it out. Robert

Certainly beats the usual Tesco trollies!

Let’s just say it’s not a good idea to park on the riverbank and leave your drivers mate on his own to get bored,at least that is what I was led to believe !

Oh deep joy … an axle clamp.

Oh deep joy … an axle clamp.

Yes, they were ‘fun’ trying to locate and fasten them at the same time and then praying that it wouldn’t work loose and drop off somewhere on route! :unamused:

Pete.

Axle clamps, the most useless bit of kit ever made,o.k. for short distance only. :unamused:
