I used to drive a D308 with two badges on the back one above the other:

There was six wheeler ran about the Dumfries area and it had crash bar fitted on the back and on it was printed CRASH TEST ZONE STARTS HERE. The way some of them tailgate I thought it was quite good. Eddie.

I found these old pics the other day and because this was an unusual accident thought it may be of interest.
I was driving the KW with 4 decks of cattle heading for Broome meat works and as I approached the bridge about 7kms north of the accident scene over the Fitzroy river in northern West Aus I saw the a man waving his arms to stop me and when I did he told me he had rolled his truck on the next bridge some 7kms down the road[over the Minnie River],another vehicle came up behind me so I left him in their care and went on to the accident scene,it was about midnight so I used the Flying Doctor frequency in my radio and called out the cavalry. I took these pics the next morning.
The truck turned out to be a Volvo F12 with 2 trailers loaded with pallets of cement and top loaded with metal culverts,the big white bit is the roof of the truck ,the engine and gearbox were under the drive axles and the drivers fridge was floating in the water 40ft below ,the driver a lucky boy had been thrown out the front onto the road and suffered only cuts and bruises. The car/panel van was just a redneck,it took most of the day before the bridge was cleared.
