The odds of it happening are probably greater than those of it staying upright
Bit of a tricky recovery job, any lateral movement and that’s going to get a bit of a wobble on, I think a decent sized crane would be needed to get that back on terra firma in one piece.

Deathtraps, they were. There is a scan of an Atkinson advert somewhere on here, saying that it was safer for the cab to collapse on impact, so that the driver could be thrown clear. What a load of tosh.

Hi ramone, no sorry no info at all - came across the photo, someone asked me what make the lorry was in the photo & I thought it would fit in this thread, thinking the load is bales of wool or raw cotton perhaps?? … oh, & I said the lorry is an AEC ■■

I agree with the AEC bit i`m not sure but they look like china bales as they were known around our way solid heavy smaller bales … but i could be wrong
