On Wyvern’s website you can download and print out an application form. Don’t bother trying to get through the gates at Knights, you can get an application form from the security guard on the gate but I’ve sent one in and applied online twice and never had an answer. Wyvern’s used to be on Sanders Lodge Estate in Rushden and I’ve seen their trailers parked in Chowns Mill where Grants Freightroute, Titans, and I.T.S. are based.

Are S T Challis still going out at Badby (near Daventry)? Old style general haulage and a bit of livestock work as I recall. Family links with Charlie ■■■■’s (Brian ■■■■ used to be in charge at Challis’ a few years ago - I think his son took over from him).

No, it’s about 2-300 yards further along the road towards Daventry - just on the other side of the A5, right on the crossroads.

I say I went into Rogers in Northampton today

Then I mentioned about calling in again and he said probally not and did not seam the slightest bit interested
As I started to drive off he got his phone out and took a photo of the back of my van as I drove off

If you actually believe that everyone who asks you for a bit of spare diesel is a genuine case then i can see your amazement at someone photographing a stanger who comes in the yard asking for a job? Maybe you really want a job? Maybe you failed the security check !!! Anyone who comes near me asking anything in a MK5 Transit is generally bad news and gets short shrift.
