Hi Ang
Being nosy here did you used to work for Scurrs at Craghead?
Cheers
Mick
A bit of sad news dont know how many on here knew Micky Hopkins, he died yesterday from a brain tumour. For those that didn
t know him he started for GE Armstrong as a16yr old in the warehouse when they were on Bensham Bank & worked for them right through till they finished. Then shunted for Ray Wright in Wavins till they were bought out by Durham City & he continued shunting for them till last yr, when he went down to Beverly getting back to his first wife. Micky was a quiet bloke but very sociable did things his own way but Ive never met anyone that didn
t like him RIP Micky
For anyone not sure who he was he had that that silver jubilee FL10 in the pic in fact that could be his son in the pic not sure
