Great photo of a great motor . I nearley bought this one myself, Peter Chandler a Sadburgh Darlington had it for sale about 6 years ago, I thought at the time it wanted too much done to it for the price he was asking, ie serveral bits missing, but its loveley to see it, & a credit to its owner Cheers Larry

From Larry to Harry, a whiskey man like myself, I will have my hip flask with me , pureley for medicenal purpose,s of course. Glenmorangie is my tipple, in fact this very minute as I type this out Im on my third one, because I dont fell too good, well thats my excuse anyway., like ive said many many times live for today, because tommorow never comes, see you at the do, Larry.
As Dennis says, some neck Harry. Larry I don’t think you mentioning the hip flask was a good idea cos you and Harry will end up joined at the hip if Harry is true to his usual style, really sorry i’m gonna miss that do cos it should be a cracker. regards,kevmac47
I hope to be there sorry you going to miss it Kev as could have gave you a lift in as will be taking the car so wont be drinking
The sheet you call a fly sheet//. Isnt realey a fly sheet, our sheets were wider than the normal ones, so as to serve a dual purpose, they were made with the heavier quality material the would cover a load 3.ft6ins. high & if you look closeley they have lugs on, we carried at lot of loads that height for East Kilbride which were quite often load & go , so 1 sheet on saved a good bit time, Regards Larry.

apologies larry , we had similar sheets on the flats ,but not so wide . ours had rope stitched round the bottom with lugs so you could dolly them down nice and tight , i still crossed the front and back though , lovely on a nice frosty morning eh .,dave
