Have just returned in from a good day at the rally many thanks but did forget camera

Here’s some pics from today’s Tyne Tees Run. I managed to take a few once I escaped from Big Jeff!!!

Here’s some more.

Seemed like a good day, I got sent over to West Denton this morning so couldn’t make it to Chester to see the run but I went from there to our South Shields Station and caught the tale end motors coming along the front, most of those in the first few pics above, these old motors look good parked up so you can have a close look but seeing them on the road where they should be is even better and they all seemed in great condition. I even spotted the old Fire Engine I had serviced last week so I’m glad it made it, hope to get there next year though. Franky.

And finally

Hope these are OK. If anybody wants to use these or copy them feel free.

Hi everyone,
spent a few good hours at Bent’s Park today first time and very impressive the legs are aching from pushing the wheelchair around on the grass.
One big complaint and i think everyone suffered on this one,NO TOILETS!!! so it made it a harder slog over to South Marine Park and back again. Many thanks to the organisers pity the weather was not like Thursday or Friday but was enjoyed by both of us non the less.

Message for Kevmac, managed a disabled spot next to the pub opposite many thanks.

Regards.

Mick.

Should have come to find me might have been able to help out with toilets

There was toilets there, behind the tent where the models were. Brick building.

Should have come to say “hi” as was standing not far from the toilet or the pink bus the judges had to get past me

The toilets in the corner were opened later, evidently no one from the council had told the person with the keys that there was an event on today. She happened to be walking past and saw what was happening and went home for the keys and unlocked the toilets.

Doesn’t that sound typically British, we get there in the end! Anyway I thought that’s what the nearside wagon wheels were for!
