Harry Leng was working at Fergies when I started in 2001. He left to drive for Stan Nelson at Ayres Quay Timber at Deptford in Sunderland. He had a big Magnum which was about 2 sizes too big for him. Don’t know if he’s still there or not.

No he got finished for hitting the juice too much. In an earlier blog someone showed a picture of a load of tippers waiting to load but they didnt know who the blue F86 belonged to. The unit and trailer belonged to Blenky of sheepfolds and harry leng was the driver long time ago

Alan is still around and driving, he was driving a twin steer MAN at the same place as Big Chris, I never made the last get together but Bumper could tell you if he was there and what he’s up to, nice lad Alan. Franky.
Not sure if I’ve put these on before but seeing as there are some Fergies of Blyth on I’ll stick some Sunderland motors on, last one is me at the Sunderland Business Park when they were building it, previous were in Rolls Royce factory and at Hartlepool Steel Works. Didn’t realise Ferguson had GUY Big J’s, never seen a pic of one, I’ve got a model GUY to build and was looking for a Northeast livery to do. Lets have more fellas, those Ryton pics were great too. Cheers Franky.
Cheers Mark, i,ll keep my eyes open for Alan on my travels might even teach him how to rope and sheet again
