Was it not the gunge from the coal washing sites that they carried and pumped down the old pit shafts i was under the impression that only stuff that was down the pits in the first place could be put back below ground, something to do with noxious materials finding it’s way into the water table, remember talking to one of their drivers in the boozer one night, we was’nt drunk, honest.

marcus i only parked at micklefield once didnt like the place . usually parked at tadcaster with big trevor who u know. that auld purple renault didnt look much but it was a good ganner not that we were ever in that much of a rush but as the saying goes all good jobs come to an end

Yes their was a lad called martin but cant remember their second names, would struggle to remember their faces these days, in fact thats martin in the photo :blush: :blush: he took bad and i think he quit the driving ,
