Old North East haulage companies (Part 1)

This is the motor I drive now, ( I know, I retired but I came back   ) This trailer was built for a special job, it has extensions fitted at the rear, they fold out so the load bed is not impeded by the cover when loading/unloading. When I first saw it I thought it was a rather big cover for a coil carrier,  It is really a very clever idea for what it is designed to carry. Regards Kev.

hiya,
When it came to chatting up the ladies I was rubbish and if you
had to throw corruption into the mix I’d be as much use as the
proverbial chocolate fireguard, just wonder was I any good at
anything, the missus says not.
thanks harry, long retired.

Harry dont you believe it, you can tell a good single malt from 20 yards with your eyes closed, the same as me, we may be getting old but we still know what the good things in life are, Eh, Regards Larry

hiya,
Larry if you’ve only got an inkling that you may be catching cold drink plenty
of the good stuff at our time of life a chill can quickly turn to pneumonia and
that would never do, heed Baden Powell and ā€œbe preparedā€ you know it makes
sense.
thanks harry, long retired.

Quite right to Harry, I was never in the scouts, but I did scout about a bit, but as you say allways be prepared, so I will have another couple of Glens before I go to bed, isnt it loveley eh, drink and be happy & sleep of course, but mind you waking up in the morning is a bonus to say the least, then we can enjoy another day looking forward to another malt or two or three Eh, Regards Larry.
