If you are in the Coventry area today, John Pearson has his open day starting at lunchtime. You can view all his restored, modern working Fodens and work in progress. Plus there are usually a few visiting motors as well.

Paul Hyman’s lorry, he hauled out of Breedon and Cloud Hill quarries for years with various Fodens. He had an old S39 and fitted a Gardner turbo in it with Eminox stacks up the back of the cab. He and his lad run a fairground now.

For Pete Smiths info,The Pearsons last two Fodens will be leaving John Howells yard over the next couple of days, they have both retired at last.
