Nice to speak to some Smiths drivers on the cb today. Haven’t seen many of them around yet I’ve delivered quite a few loads just around the corner from their pits.

So come on Nathan, who you on for ? Oh! and how’s the wee chap doing ? Cheers Dennis.

I’m on for Earthline, driving an 8w MAN. It’s in the away colours of white cab and brown tipper though (Multi Agg livery). i don’t know why it’s in those colours, something to do with Earthline buying them out so I’m told. Been a good job so far, home before 5.30pm every night and an extra 2.5 hours in bed compared with previous job. :grimacing:
I’ll try and put up some photos later, but the attachment thing on here is playing up, takes ages and then the screen goes blank.
Callum’s doing well, nearly 2 and a half now and is a crafty little so and so at times.

Just like his “old Dad” :sunglasses: :unamused:  Dennis.

Hope this works, I’m having a nightmare of a job uploading photos. If anyone knows how to post pics via photobucket and a mobile please post some tips. Uploading as attachments doesn’t work.

Oh my giddy aunt! A picture has actually posted!

Regular subbies for Earthline.

There you are, kid, a bit of patience was all that was required!
And for goodness’ sake get some decent colour on that thing :unamused:

What, the photo or the lorry??

Oh the lorry, of course.
Maybe you, like me, haven’t got one of those fancy bells-and-whistles camera jobbies that do everything for you, including inserting a prettier colour!

Hi Nathan , please could you say “hello” to Nick who drives the big Daf Arctic , he has his name in the window , he was with me in the workshops on Brs at 16 to 18 . he got some tales about me

Will do if I see him Steve; Don’t see the artics very offen as they seem to be on sand/tramping. Tell you what, Ihonestly haven’t seen the behaviour so often associated with this lot.
:open_mouth: :sunglasses:

Was you loking at some nice legs on the pear tree roundabout ? :open_mouth:

Muckaway:
Is it me or does the wheelbase on that Hayter lorry look strange? I think that’s longer than Matthews’ 6wheelers.

thats because it is a 6 legger!

David

I think I have done that.

Old and new tippers, I gather the “old” one is soon to be replaced.

Just spent several days in the Wantage/Didcot area and spied lots of Earthline and Multi Agg trucks about, or the same two lots of times!

Pete.

Pete, not sure of the exact numbers but I’ve heard they run over 50 lorries now. It’s nice not to be carrying the delivery off, and nice to not even leave the seat to open the tailgate.

you are getting lazy nathan , nowt like a bit of handball for keeping you fit . hope you still cycle to work to keep the pounds off . she who must be obeyed will soon let you know if you start putting weight on , women are good at that . cheers , dave
