Waiting for a gritter before making the slippery climb over Woodhead Pass. I’m told there is a café behind the lorries which is now demolished.

Just been asking my Dad and he thinks it might have been the Robin Hood cafe behind the lorries

Is that the same Jimmy Etch that went onto be head fitter at Anglo Danish? Built their ERF Wrecker which practically had a static caravan built on it to sleep in!!! If it’s the same bloke he was a good old boy. Called everyone ‘Bert’ and would help any of the drivers out if a little ‘■■■■’ needed to disappear quietly overnight!!

Yes mate that’s Dennis. I was given these pics by somebody else but I remember Dennis well. My dad saw him in tesco in Cleethorpes a few weeks ago and he said he misses driving.
