Waiting for a gritter before making the slippery climb over Woodhead Pass. I’m told there is a café behind the lorries which is now demolished.
Just been asking my Dad and he thinks it might have been the Robin Hood cafe behind the lorries
Interesting stuff Mr I Shift . Thank you . We used to do a few repairs for Clive when he was running his own lorry , nice to have worked for him . Regards Geoff

Haven’t seen Clive for a few weeks now but I think he still in good health.
Is that the same Jimmy Etch that went onto be head fitter at Anglo Danish? Built their ERF Wrecker which practically had a static caravan built on it to sleep in!!! If it’s the same bloke he was a good old boy. Called everyone ‘Bert’ and would help any of the drivers out if a little ‘■■■■’ needed to disappear quietly overnight!!
Yes mate that’s Dennis. I was given these pics by somebody else but I remember Dennis well. My dad saw him in tesco in Cleethorpes a few weeks ago and he said he misses driving.
