Hi sniffy, no i was not out last sunday. I cover part time when the regular driver is off usually at weekends. there is a guy who is learning the job so it could have been him as the regular driver takes him to ineos and shows him how to load etc. and it is usually sundays.(matt).

What super photos ,I worked on Tankers in Ellsmere Port and the Wirral. Worked for Jet,AS Jones Pickfords. PL Transtore Eastham Tankers Ancliff United Chevron Gulf Colas not directly for some but seconded to them and the almost forgotten one Stevenson Hardy in Bromborough I really wish I had kept the pictures I had I could kick myself I worked the golden years on tankers 1964 1990 SR,Arrow Bulk Sykes Harold Wood the list of firms was endless now nearly all gone end of a golden age

Hi Arthur, I was on for Burmah in scotland with R RANKIN, Then P&O, then Linfox on Burmah SAVE, I was looking through a site i am on here and someone posted photos of Burmah tankers, one which i drove for 5 years, He has given me permission to post them so when he sorts them out i will try and post them.
Here is a photo of the tanker i used to drive with p&o grangemouth on the Burmah contract, It was fitted with a ■■■■■■■ engine and an eaton twin splitter.One of the best motors i have driven.
