as title 3 trucks heading out all bright yellow line marking trucks from durham, give us a flash if you see us :wink: heading out of calais sunday mid morning/afternoon.

If heading Dover to Calais we normally set off from Gateshead around 1pm and gets you easily on a crossing around 9:30pm off the other side before midnight and depending on your direction free to carry on for a couple of hours :smiley:

Dont forget the high viz jacket for break downs,and an attestation activity form if you have no tacho records for the last 28 days,that can be thousands in fine money without that.
Take some pictures to show us all here,eat in a French Routier,allow 2 hours for a 6 course meal for 10 to 20 euros,the more trucks in the parking,the better the food.
If stopped by the Douanes,remain polite,offer to shake their hand,the same for the Gendarmes,a few phrases in their own language can get you out of a whole heap of trouble.
Have your tachograph stickers checked,for the validity of the maintenance,and go with 24 hour tyre call out credit,on a toll road you will be told to move the broken down truck at a high price tow or crane firm,that the police will choose for you.
