I hear comments when I am back in the UK about how great the NYPD are. In truth when I look at those police I see mostly a bunch of idiots. I know they are brave and put their lives on the line daily but the traffic cops are like street thugs and behave like hooligans for the most part, they have no regard for traffic regulations except when they see the chance to give out a ticket, they just drive over red lights regardless and mostly without even using a siren or light bar. I see them meeting mid intersection and just stopping to chat ignoring anyone trying to get by, they drive with a mobile phone in their hands and issue tickets to anyone they see doing the same, yet they see some local doing something very dangerous such as turning right from a left lane and totally cutting off another driver or turning left from a right turn only lane. Early Friday morning there were two Yonkers cops driving the wrong way along Riverdale without any lights on just checking parked cars, they hadn’t even got the common sense to got to the end on the correct side and turn to face the right way and when I stopped and pointed to the arrows I got the middle finger, so mature police we have there
Last week I sat at some lights at an intersection with a one way street and as a car turned into in he had to stop because a cop was coming the other way, THE WRONG WAY without flashing lights or sirens.
While we are on the subject NJ state troopers are not as bad but very strict and if you ever wonder why they dress just like ■■■■ stormtroopers wait till you cross one
Little Hitler gave a ticket on 33rd St between 11th and 12 Ave in Manhattan. Ticket was wrote up for being parked 60’ from Fire Hydrant. You talk about a bunch of *hite. Think it cost $125.
They want us to take these bands into Manhattan, but forget we have to park these truck’s somewhere. Damned if I’m going back over to NJ then pay $75 again to cross GW bridge, and put up with the BS of Manhattan traffic twice.
I thought it was a 6 feet distance needed from a fire hydrant ? 60 feet seems very wrong.
Mostly they just want any way to get revenue for the city.
$75 for the GWB?!?!?! Jesus H Christ! I’m glad I’ve never opted to go north/east bound in my non EZpass truck then! How the hell can they get away with charging that much when the Tappan Zee is what, $20ish?

That’s what I thought too. I couldn’t read his writing, so went online to see wtf ticket was for, and it said 60’. The nearest Fire Hydrant I saw was half way up the street.

I think they should pay us to cross that crumbling POS bridge. Yep I crossed it yesterday and it was $75.
Tappan Zee is about $60 now I think ?

Cant be, I’ve crossed it a few times and paid cash and there was no way it was more than $32.75 otherwise I’d never have crossed again. I was going to go over today but then thought better of it and went up the 87 from the 287 as far as the 84 and paid $7.10 and then $12.50 for the Newburgh bridge.
