Why can I only post three times and then be blocked until someone posts or replies■■?
Put two posts on the same forum last week, had a couple of likes but no actual replies and no one else has posted. Put another posting on the forum today which makes a total of three and now system tells me not allowed any more until someone replies or posts. Could sit for days waiting for something to happen and unable to post anything fresh.
No wonder people are losing interest in TNUK

I think that the problems stem from waay above Daves pay grade in as much that they (the headshed) have zero concept of the “humanity “ of this forum and think that it’s merely A N other social media platform and treat it as so.

That’s fine I suppose, it’s their train set and as such it’s theirs to do as they wish. I call it “the Ratner effect”.

Thank you for the replies. I appreciate no one at our or admin level will be able to do anything, however it had to be highlighted if only to get it off my chest!!
Franglais, thank you for the suggestion to just edit the last post, on the old platform I think there was a limit to the file size of a particular post and there was a limit to the number of photos per posting, any one any idea if the same is true of the current platform

Sorry but no idea, on total allowed but there is an individual file size so videos are too big. At least that is my understanding.

It’s a way to stop spammers spamming I’m afraid by limiting the amount of posts a user can create on forums.

You won’t be able to pay again until someone else posts on it.

Its a right royal pain on primarily picture based threads, particularly for the fellows who tend to keep them going.

Another forum related query…sorry if it’s a dumbass stupid one as it more than likely will be due to my (lack of) abilities with all this type of cack.
How do you,.(or even can you) read your pms off the old format?
I used to like to go back and read the abuse I got from time to time to cheer myself up with the comedy value, in the ‘old days’ in a masochistic ‘hurt me baby hurt me’ type of way :joy:.

And I would have liked to keep the actual death threat (fact :flushed:) I got as a souvenir :joy:…if only to convince myself I aint as unbalanced as some on here.:joy::joy:

I agree Gateshead myself included, apart from the odd Plus1 (thumb up) or a Heart (like) there is no real feedback like on the previous version of Trucknet you could click on photos posted and get the number of views mostly in the 100s giving a show of interest and of course we are sadly down on participating members on this new setup.

Yeah I was being a bit flippant and tongue in cheek in my question, but there was stuff on there I wish I could have kept, especially stuff from an old guy I got to know who aint here anymore.
