Dave the Renegade:
I reckon you was cut out for a career as as gigolo Harry.Where did you go wrong and get onto lorry driving. A bad move on your part. You could have been shacked up with a rich old broiler in a penthouse in your retirement being cosseted and picking winners while drinking the best malt that money could buy.
A missed opportunity.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Dave I’ll bear that in mind should I get reincarnated, but not an “old”
broiler please something a little younger, I do prefer to look at the
mantlepiece when keeping a smile on the ladies face.
thanks harry, long retired.

hiya,
Bit late now Dave the best I can do is give the fairer ■■■ a good
coat of looking at, wouldn’t be able to do any good old age and a
tight rein are the silent gelder every man dreads, I did have a
Jack Russell once that chased motorbikes but even if it managed
to catch up with them he wasn’t able to ride them a bit like me
the only difference being I could still manage a little motorbike.

Harry you managed to bring a smile to my face,   with your response, but don’t give up hoping or dreaming,   you must drink a glass of milk with two teaspoons of cement,    and you could be a contender! :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :astonished: :astonished: :astonished:

I used to watch quite a bit off athletics years ago Norm, when the likes of Coe,Ovett and Co were competing.Completely lost interest in it these days.I couldn’t even name a British runner these days.
Cheers Dave.

Well that is natural, for you would like to see your country have a chance of winning or at least get near.

hiya,
I haven’t watched anything “Olympic” as yet I don’t care too much
for athletics, and the country being as skint (as they try to tell us)
I don’t know how they have the cheek to fund it, no doubt some
of our countries “who pay zero taxes” entrepenuers will profit out
of the residue and as for being for the people they can’t even get
the seating arrangements sorted out, playing to half full houses so
to speak, there’s some military boxing at some point and a friends
(grandson) is fighting brought in at the last minute the lads name
is Larsen it does sound Norwegian but he’s a Geordie, will be taking
a look see when he’s doing his bit but that’ll be about it, and I wonder
how many of these so called foreign “athletes” will do a runner and
live here on exhorbitant benifits that us pensioners can only dream
about, I bet some have already “left” and laughing up their sleeves
at how easy it was to get to the land of milk and honey and getting
huge handouts which being “illegal” makes them entitled too, no i’ve
not got a lot of interest, and should I get sent to the Tower for this
post I will be grateful for food parcels.
thanks harry, long retired.

I used to watch all kinds of sport on TV years ago Norm.I will still watch football, boxing and sometimes cricket.Used to watch show jumping, athletics and motor sport, just lost interest in them these days.
Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Yes Dave a lot of rubbish purporting to be entertainment on the
box nowadays, Formula 1 is like playing with a Scalectrix, I can’t
get away with cricket at all, still enjoy football and rugby there’s
not a lot of boxing but would watch it, has to be recent though I
don’t bother with the old recorded stuff, some darts and snooker
and that’s it,oh’ and often watch my horses losing on Saturday
afternoons, quite the opposite of our “lucky Norman”.
