My other halfs step dad absolutely despises me, I think her mother just tolerates me. But my gf’s ex, they think the sun shines out of his, even after 3yrs, so much so that the step dad invited him down to stay over Christmas. Now, I understand he is the father of 1 of her kids, and ok, he does live 300 miles away, but inviting him down to stay, and with them living a little over half a mile away, takes the p. Her dad, on the other hand, is a nice enough bloke, and his partner, get on with them really well.
i “clicked” with a female a while back , 2 wks in , we are in her home , she says i have to leave, on asking why , says her fsther is due to visit,and he would not be well pleased to see me with her as he expects her to be dating a “career suit !” SHE; career woman ,39 yoa own flat etc etc ME ;slaphead trucker, 47yoa , earning more than her , WITH! great suits !! but , living in a camper van . pity i couldn"t be bothered to tell her i own an unmorgaged house , didn"t wan"t to be boasting like, have her after my assets (financial, that is !)females eh,just dont get them■■?
She is 39 ,her old dad should be well pleased that his daughter has managed to interest something with a willie.
I think older birds are less likely to split on you as they often have more to lose.
