Will there be any close-up photos of one of the famous Big J/Gardner 240s? If so, would you be so kind as to let the ■■■■■■■■ Sheeter have a ticket? :unamused:

ROF do you remember these from your neck of the woods Thomas W Bayleys of Macclesfield

Can’t say I recall those, John. I’ve only been incarcerated in t’frozen North for 25 years so they would have been before my time. Looks a smart outfit, though.

Hiya,
I notice a friend of my father has his name firmly stamped on the TT course namely
Drinkwater’s Bend in the Little London area of the course Ben Drinkwater was killed
when racing at the island many years ago he was a family friend and I believe he is
supposed to have said, Dads words, Arthur I’ll win the bugger this time or I’ll kill
myself in the attempt no doubt joking at the time but eerily that was the outcome.
thanks harry, long retired.

Hiya,
Just look at that nice straight tipper body on what looks like a hard worked motor.
thanks harry, long retired.

Still going strong one of Oldham haulier J Barrett’s ERF EC14 Pennine Stalwart caught having just made the climb from off the M62 at Saddleworth and making his way down towards Denshaw.(a little bit of exhaust soot on the curtain but no doubt it will clean off)
