Wasn,t sur if Paul was his son, Use to load and unload trailers for him at Newton. That how i got to know Hume they dropped trailers at Newton as well

Hi guys does anybody remember a firm called SG Bartlett and sons from ballymoney co antrim they also had a yard in chorley or Wigan ,
There last days would have been around the mid 70,s they ran a mixed fleet of Volvo f88 scania 81 dennison erf and ford transcontinental and of course Atkinson and Seddon Atkinson ,
They employed a few men for the Stranraer area and worked closely with an English firm called carpenter s who ran lorry and drag scania,s .
Any info on any of the above would be welcome or indeed if anybody has any photo ,s it would be great

Anybody remember Campbell Adams from Newton Stewart he drove for J T Moodie Glenluce and then Woodside after the takeover. Then he went on for Trevor Cathers for a long time. Eddie.
