Hi all,
Here’s steelboyf10’s first classic truck .
thanks Andrew, hard to believe this was nearly 20 years ago, 1994■■?, it was all my old mate Tony Greens fault!
my second truck was from Llantrisant, never did get round to doing her up, and sold it on with the Marathon when I bought the F10 in 2000
thats me picking the f10 up from Duffields Volvo Dealer in Ely, you wouldn’t find any for sale in Commercial Motor now!, as an ex Bill Watlings motor, and was well maintained and in tip top condition, for a 1983 motor.
and here she is having returned from the paint shop, having had a tip top job done on the cab , chassis, and other important little places!, ready to go to the Malvern show this weekend!
tastrucker:

Hello Nianiamh thank you for the Marathon photo , but you have brought back memories with that Foden photo . I am sure they hauled out of Marshall refractories at llynfynedd . think they also did work from Ruthin concrete thank you nianiamh Trevor
Hi all, really enjoying reading this and looking through the photos that bring back a lot of memories, a few familiar names too from my time at William’s a good few years ago now, noticed some coments on Dafydd’s “incident” all those years ago, I just hope that time has done some healing in this case especially as some people are no longer on the scene.
Keep the stories and pics comming.
