Fantastic pictures Harry, I knew almost all these drivers! I was only trying to remember Marnix’s name the other day. Your picture marked ‘Jeff?’ is actually Steve. He used to drive for the bloke who ran plain white FHs, then he joined Manno’s, got married in Tangiers and ended up running the John Mann office there. He was a really good bloke. The picture of Skelly isn’t Skelly it looks like someone else. The bloke in the top left corner of the Yacht-club picture is John McFarlane, who used to subbie for Breda with a DAF 95 Super-space and ended up driving for Ranjit when I was on for him. Marvellous pictures of Dave Rapley and Glynn (whom we mentioned earlier this week). Robert

Yeah Will, I do mean Steve Withers. One day, when he was still driving, he’d broken down on the Casa motorway. I stopped to check he was OK and he had the missus and baby aboard. But everyone had stopped for him and made sure he was safe. A good lad.
Another Savil driver at that time was Tommy Stamp, and I was parked up with him on Sale when he got to hear about Stuart’s accident with the bus. He was understandably depressed by the news. Robert:)
Jerry in the grey hair at the bar, I think. Pete with the red yoks. Rappers getting his sea legs… Robert:)

Cadiz,Algarciras,two trips a month = 4 bottles of Scotch + 800 Marlboro @ month. Don’t smoke but didn’t give the Maroc cops or rumagers 1 ■■■.
Sometimes between big trips I’d have to drive these to Holland and back, or Belgium - oh yes, we had all the thrills and spills on Breda Transport all right! Robert
