Blimey you are taking a chance in this current economic climate especially if you have a job where you are.

Might be useful if you told us what licence you hold :bulb:

PS - this guy is from Downham Market and has an interesting job  CLICK HERE

I can tell who is the boss in your relationship… and mine… and… and …

Seriously, I hope someone can point you in the right direction

Have you heard of Yellow Pages? They hold a lot of information on what companies live here, there and everywhere.

Dont quote me on it,but arent Richard Long BV,Dutch plated Scanias that do Eastern Euro with machinery/combines/tractor/irrigation equipment/MOD and tank transport, etc, around that area. And Matthews Ltd that do TIR work to anywhere in Europe and beyond.Fridge and ADR work.Going back to carrot crunching and cider drinking down here in Wurzel land of sleepy Somerset.Have a ā€œMagnersā€ on me!!

That kinda suggests that you’ll be in loyalty credit for flippin’ ages and wont need to work…!

Maybe bare it in mind that the locals take an equal age to accept outsiders …and they talk funny too.

Not too sure there are that many hauliers left in the Norwich area, you may be better off looking a bit further afield. Felixstowe is only an hour or so away and may be your best bet. Off the top of my head can think in the Norwich area can think of, Matthews, and Grampian who are both Great Yarmouth. Jack Richards run a few motors out of Norwich, Wincanton run some from Colmans too, there is also a firm who do the paper out of NCB whose name escapes me at the moment. Then there is Star Transport and TNT(or is it DHL now) at Thetford and possibly a handful of smaller operators, but wether any will be recruiting is a different matter. Most of the guys I knew have all gone to Felixstowe and beyond looking for that elusive shilling.

u have a pm mate

Hope this helps:

Good luck!

I believe there is a tin pot haulage company running out of Diss that provides truckage to aspiring rock and roll combos.
A couple of their Yorkie munching employees are wont to post on here occasionally

Derek Coopers around Norwich I think…but like has already been said, dunno whether many of em are taking on for obvious reasons
