Can anyone see the Norbert Dentressangle name/livery disappearing that quick with the amount of units and trailers they have ?
I have noticed in the UK there are more Polish & Romanian units than the french ones , i hardly see any french registered Norberts in the Uk.

In the early 90’s I had a visit from Nobby’s then UK MD Ray ? (I’ll have his sir name somewhere in a file) to enquire wether I would be interested in a possible sale of Bewick Transport to ND,nothing came of it as I wasn’t interested but not long afterwards I was told that Ray had to give up his job to look after his very sick wife.I’ve got to say though that contrary to my dim view of all things Le Frog this chap Ray was a right decent sort,well he would be as he was EnglishCheers Bewick.
Den…and Saviem. .his name was… Ray McCloud…worked with him at Robert Armstrong…a matter of interest, his father Fulton Mackay, was the actor who played the prison officer Mr. Mackay in Porridge… as you say, Ray is a really nice man…

The son’s name was John, he did the day today running and load allocation of the vehicles…spoke reasonable French, and was a decent bloke…
They were originally in the old goods railway yard at Fratton, next to the football ground in Portsmouth before moving to Fareham…

Back in u.k. now Fergie and kerbut,never went to Quimper but been to Merdrignac a few times,miss the place but due to wifes illness we came back. 
A couple of points; Chris Arbon, where do ND run in the USA as I’ve driven over most of the US and never seen any of their trucks, secondly Petecud, David Fowler was and probably still is one of the most obnoxious, arrogant individuals with no sympathy for his drivers whatsoever that I have ever met.

Have seen an ND with a TDG trailer; an XPO with a TDG trailer, and now an XPO with an ND trailer.
Looking forward to seeing an XPO tractor unit with an XPO trailer.
CHAZZER even now i still detest him i think in all y years of my sea time, driving.i have never detested anyone but david fowler… once whe we were all getting do e for tacho offencies i was interviewed in his office by the ministriy ma .a d isaid to him tbere will ea tape recorder somwhere in here and he said never i said you dont know him isaid to him He is a verbale bully david fowler and be ■■■ hood me so isaid not anotber word to all his questions because we were told all fines would be paid, just to save his own skin denises.
I remember the occasion of the tachograph offences but it was after I finished doing part time work for ACH but I’m sure that a lot of mine would not have stood up under scrutiny.

The picture of the truck on the pumps was taken in San Antonio, Texas, so he must have come past your place. The other truck was spotted in a rest area on the Illinois/Wisconsin border. I’m down in the States every week and see at least one Norbert Mack on every trip.
