No drugs test in medical - is this right?

Just had my medical and about to post off my license application to DVLA. However, just realised I haven’t had a drugs test, which I was expecting.

Should I have had one? This is for Class 2.

Never heard of a drugs test being done for a D4 medical unless it is a new thing …

Didn’t have one for my medical a month or so ago. Don’t think it’s a part of the medical. In any case my provisional came through so must all be gravy. Don’t worry bout it.

You’ll soon be on drugs when you end up driving… anti depressants wouldn’t go a miss.
