HGV’s using the A372 from the A303 to access ABP in Langport Somerset are being diverted by ABP to avoid the village of Huish Episcopi because of complaints from stuffy residents of HGV’s going past their homes. There are no official restrictions for HGV’s on the road.
Drivers are being asked to turn right before the village onto Tengore Lane then left onto the B3153 and then left again at the first roundabout onto the A372 which runs directly outside of Huish Academy, A secondary school and Sixth Form.

I know what I’d do, no HGV restrictions?, road fund licence paid? then ■■■■ the posh ■■■■■■
I’ll have to slowly cruise around Huish Episcopi some time and spend an hour or two blasting my quadruple air horns.
Of course, if you use the A361 & the A372 (now the flooding has gone down) you go past the school anyway
