Disagree, my recently bought 520d has plenty of grunt at 177 hp but not as much obviously as the smoothness of my previous 3ltr inline 6 pots, and had about 6 of them so far …
A Decent map Will see you around 220 bhp on that Raymundo and a lot more driveability and a little more economy. I have the same engine in my 320d and find it more than capable day to day. 450 ish nm of torque as well. Like you say nowhere near as refined as the 6 pot 3 litre
