I’m coming down with a cold, and was considering using Night Nurse after work.
But I’ve been told that Night Nurse can put you over the D/D limit the morning after. 
Anyone shed some light on all this??
Depends if the night nurse makes you a hot toddy while shes lookingafter you…ohh hang on you meant the medicine 
There is no alcohol in Night Nurse, so no.
It does contain pseudoephedrine so I suppose, in theory you could test positive in a drug test if they are testing for Amphetamine, but I would consider that to be highly unlikely.

Urban Myth
If you are taking the maximum dose of Paracetemol (8 per day) then Night Nurse can cause problems with O/D’ing, otherwise I wouldn’t think it would cause any bother apart from (perhaps) drowsiness.

Day Nurse. Its been the only thing that has meant I can keep working many a time. Works so well you can feel when you’re next due a dose as you start to feel crap again.
I swear by Night and Day Nurse. When I get the sniffles, out they come!
Omly downside is it costs about £10 to keep a cold at bay.

I swear that it was only 1 cap full.
I had proper full blown flu & NOT manflu, like everyone else suspected, so I don’t know if it was the Night Nurse or the flu, but I don’t want to go there again

Mate, Manflu is terrible, the worst type of flu there is, far worse than giving birth I would imagine.
God alone knows how we manage to cope with it but somehow we manage to soldier on.

I once had a cough and was taking medicine for it.
One Sunday i was working, got to my first drop and decided to take a dose. ■■■■, forgot the silly little spoon. So just drank straight from the bottle, didn’t seem much left so finished it off.
Got to my next drop about an hour later, feeling fine on the way there and no problems with my driving. Anyway i got out of the cab and couldn’t walk straight! 
I never read the label before that said it had a small alcohol content. Good job i never got stopped lol

My next door neighbour, a chemist at Glaxo, told me he took it before long haul flights and slept all the way. I tried it and ‘lost’ two days of my holidays - fact

I have just been on night nurse and it is a new formula. kept me awake so stopped using it. its one of those silly tales to keep you on your toes that it keeps you awake. Choose a lemsip type and add a antihystamine to help you sleep

Would that be the same ‘Night Nurse’ who used to be on the CB around the Northampton area in the late 80’s ? … I always thought she might be worth getting on but the oppertunity never arose
Many years ago a driver i knew used to take his Night Nurse all over Italy cant tell you where he came from but we knew him as Brummie Dave, nice lady she was as well
