I’d just like to say i had another great week, two trips from ME to upstate NY and back in this hot weather and some nice scenery the hot weather brings (wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more squire :smiley: )
No screw ups, all my trailers were loaded so just drop, hook and go. No I-95 traffic jams to put up with, no spending hours in Yonkers loading trailers, no going after parts to fix my truck, no haveing to wait five hours to unload because their tank is full :stuck_out_tongue:

When I say “loading trailers” Charlie boy I actually mean hooking up to it, backing under a pipe and then some bloke actually loads it and I drop it and doing that 4 times for a days work and nothing else ain’t too bad.
Glad you had a good week but then you do have probably the best driving job in the USA, apart from the bloke who drives my old truck and lives in Hershey PA … as I found out on Thursday. This guy starts most monday mornings with a loaded tanker at his house, drives about 2 miles to the chocolate factory, backs in a bay, they do everything including venting the tank and pumping the load off in 20 minutes, then he runs his empty to Yonkers, drops and hooks most times and takes the next mornings load back to Hershey. Result monday to friday home every night and all weekend for $1200.00 a week.
He did have a problem thursday because he took a load to Lebanon PA instead and I did his run, this is how I know he has a damm good deal. :laughing:
