Hi,
I should be getting my C+E in the next 6 weeks, and am lucky enough to have a job lined up already
So trying to get my head around all the rules and regs.
What happens in real life when your 4.5/9/10 hours are up, you are 5 mins from destination and there is nowhere to stop?

In that scenario you have a problem because you should have stopped earlier where there was somewhere to stop.
If you’re likely to run out of driving time when you’re within 5 minutes of your base at the end of the shift the best option would be to stop before getting into that situation and get someone to drive the vehicle back for you.

Do we use domestic or EU regs as well as WTD?
We work to EU regulations and the RT(WTD)R, domestic regulations are not affiliated to the Road Transport Working Time Regulations.
