Will be visiting in April and would like to line up interviews etc for then. Will be in Waikato area of north island, but am prepared to travel all over north island.
Also has anyone any experiences of Kiwi trucking? I’d be interested to know what it’s like to work there as opposed to being a visitor.

Hi Dave,
There are loadsa ex-pats out ere driving trucks.Don’t know much about Nrth Island,we are in the South.
Its not great but it is a job I suppose.Heavy Truck driving is on the shortage list for work permits,though how much that will help for a residency application I don’t know.As far as I know you just need a job offer in writing and you will get a work permit,but not sure on that.
