Finally had a call back this morning about the class 2 job I applied for last week, it’s a yes 
. Only had my licence 3 weeks and in January I will be driving an 8 wheeler for a major international metal recycling company.
so all those of you on the no experience no job treadmill, there is hope.

Great news mate, doing my class 2 in January and finding work as a new driver is something of a worry. I’ve done years of courier work and currently drive buses and coaches so I’m hoping that gives me some help towards a job driving trucks.
As the advice goes on here Adam, get yourself about and talk to transport managers, the job I got wasn’t even advertised, was just weighing in some metal for my boss, and saw an ad for class 1 drivers so thought I’d try my luck.
