As some of you will be aware, coming out of Bradford, and getting onto the M62 eastbound is a nightmare.Well, they’ve almost completed the new filter lane onto said carriageway, off the M606.

However,as I came past there today,I managed to get a good look at what they’ve done so far,and they have constructed a 2+ persons lane, which leads onto the eastbound side, but within it,there looked like what appeared to be the type of post used with Specs average speed cameras, however, instead of yellow or blue, this one was standard silver.
I’m guessing they are going to monitor the 2+ lane, and prosecute where necessary.Deep joy.
Of course you’ll all be delighted that Gordon Brown is after more of your hard earned, because as a motorist you don’t pay the treasury enough, and while I agree that people who break the law should be prosecuted, shouldn’t there be other crimes that should take priority on the road, like people who have no insurance, tax etc…

Ken
Or you could do what Clarkson has suggested in today’s Sun,coincidentally, and use an, ‘ahem’ inflatable lady.

Ken.
Same with the widening of the M1 down the bottom near the M25.all the disruption it has caused over the last couple of years, all for a 2+ Multi occupancy lane

That’s all right, I’ll get my girlfriend out from under the bunk.

She looks quite surprised.

I just told her that my pay went into the bank on the day it should.

The report suggests that fast drivers in lane 4 - the MOV lane would have to pass slower drivers in the MOV lane by undertaking in lane 3!
Yes Ken you are quite right about these cameras. On the breakfast news there was a report about them.
They are to be trialed on this stretch of motorway and they will work by detecting bodily fluids (NOT THOSE!!
) in the seats.

Therefore guys you’ll have to leave the loves of your life at home as they won’t work

I see the Government has eventually in this instance, used a bit of Common Sense for a change.
I sure the majority of the Country could of told them that when the road was in the planning stages.

I’m not usually a conspiracy theorist, but could this have been an absolutely brilliant idea by the government to get motorway widening past the lay-about environmentalist lot
“Here’s a car sharing lane that we’ve built, oh ■■■■ it won’t work. Never mind we’ve built it so it might as well be used to cut congestion”
If so, fantastic, it worked
