New tacho card first insert

Hi all, I havent driven since my tacho card ran out. I have an interview/assesment tomorrow so obviously need to use my new card. question is is there any special procedure i need to follow as my rest period started before the valid from date.

Just dont want to be fumbling around on the assesment

If your old one ran out within the last 28 days you should have it with you. Otherwise, manual entry with rest until start of shift.
