Have to laugh when the director says it’s helps the government on there aim to provide more facilities and secure safe parking for truckers
So they going to fence it in provide 24 / security patrols.
And provide a bigger better cafe better showers etc.
Or just shove up a sign park at your own risk were not responsible but happy to to take your £20 plus parking fee
To be fair though only used the pit stop few times. Wouldt call it a truck stop as such .
And think it’s more secure than others
The government aim is to remove as much road transport from the roads and to bury as much green field land under development, as possible.
When I park there I have the ham egg and 1inch thick chips 
I’m curious about what facilities will be available for truck drivers at the new location that they’re building next to the M1 near Sheffield when it opens
I noticed what I assume to be a new one on London rd Glasgow the other week.
Yeah you get a good scran in there, good showers too.
All in all a good modern Truckstop…if you can get on.
I never (or rarely) start ridiculously early so I am usually late parking up.
