I’ve heard a few times now that there is a new EU reg coming in that will make planned reduced weekly rests illegal (ie they can no longer be incorporated into a planned rota).
Does anyone know if this is true or is just the usual driver talk?

This could be something to do with taking regular 45 weekly rests in a lorry when away from base … that’s all I can think of
