Hi all!

I passed my Class 2 a couple of weeks ago and i’m really excited to start driving.

Is anybody else having issues with companies getting back to them? I have applied for approx. 80 positions around Herefordshire and only four have got back to me… All four are agencies. Backline Logistics is one of them and I decided to sign up with them to gain some experience because employers are just not getting back to me! I have my Class 1 booked in for June. So fingers crossed I hear something soon!

Get out there.
Drop into companies you would consider working for & speak to them face to face.
Sending emails doesn’t work in this industry.
Seeing them face to face gives them opportunity to suss you out plus you can suss them out.
Try mid day around mid week. Take your hi Vis & safety boots ready for a trial drive & you’ll be sure to walk away with a job offer after doing this a couple of times.
