Today was a case of…
Pick up truck, drive from the yard to a case makers 1/3 mile away, reverse from the main road into their yard…load empty stilages.
Take stilages to a engineers in Coventry, unload and reload at the engineers.
Return to the case makers and unload.
Return to yard, swap trailer for a double decker.
Drive to coleville, swap trailer (park up, drop trailer, pick up full trailer, move trailer next to empty trailer, move empty trailer to where full trailer was, pick up full trailer)…then…
Take full double decker to minworth and unload.
Back to yard to swap for another double decker.
Then back to minworth and unload again.
Cup of coffee, then home.
Forgot to mention…I even have my own van. A daf cf…one minor point is that its covered over 1m km. But considering, it drives very well.
